Planning for the Los Angeles Convention Center

Start with your assigned hall, booth number, floor plan, and current exhibitor service manual. An LACC exhibit needs a coordinated plan for receiving, booth assembly, utilities, and the approved move-in and move-out windows.

Preparing for an LACC event? Read our Los Angeles Convention Center booth planning guide to connect your floor plan with design approvals, freight receiving, installation responsibilities and show-service budgeting. Use the current event manual and applicable venue requirements to confirm the details for your show.

  • Freight and advance warehouse: confirm whether the event accepts advance-warehouse or direct-to-show delivery. Give the carrier the designated labels, receiving address, check-in instructions, and arrival window.
  • Material handling: separate transport to Los Angeles from unloading and movement within the venue. Confirm packaging, shipment weights, handling arrangements, and the contractor’s charges.
  • Electrical service: identify equipment loads, outlet positions, and the sequence of underfloor work before drawings and flooring are finalized. Use the event’s authorized provider and ordering instructions.
  • Internet and AV: define what demonstrations, lead capture, video, and meetings require. Confirm current connectivity options with the venue’s designated provider; public Wi-Fi is not a substitute for a reviewed demo plan.
  • Rigging and display approvals: identify suspended signs, structural details, and required submissions early. Confirm the approved provider and requirements for your assigned space.
  • Installation and return freight: align crew access, service connections, assembly order, empty-container return, repacking, and outbound pickup with the event schedule.

Review the LACC’s official event resources and services alongside your show manual. Confirm access and receiving instructions before dispatch. Electrical, internet, rigging, and material handling are separate services unless expressly included in the proposal.

Medical Exhibit Planning: ASCRS 2025 Los Angeles Experience

A compact medical exhibit should give visitors a clear view of the product and enough room for focused conversations. For a 10×10 footprint, prioritize the primary display, staff positions, visitor access, and storage before adding extra fixtures.

  • Equipment and product presentation: provide dimensions, weights, power requirements, and the intended static or demonstration use.
  • Demo viewing: position screens and samples so visitors can see them without blocking entry or adjacent aisles. Plan cable routing and equipment clearances with the display layout.
  • Conversation and storage: include practical counter space and secure storage for literature, packaging, and staff items.
  • Graphics and approvals: use client-approved product information and branding. Confirm any organizer review requirements before graphics go to print.

VIA 10x10 booth at ASCRS 2025 in Los Angeles with a medical video wall, branded counter and two stools
Completed VIA exhibit at ASCRS 2025, Los Angeles Convention Center.

Exhibitsmax delivered the booth design and 3D visualization, custom fabrication and graphics, transportation, and show-site installation. The recorded project scope also included rental elements, LED video wall rental, pre-show assembly, dismantling and storage. Custom-built components and rental elements were coordinated within the same 100-square-foot exhibit.

The completed layout used the medical video wall as its main visual feature, with a mint-and-white VIA counter and two stools for visitor conversations. This is an actual Los Angeles delivery example; view the VIA case study and additional photographs for the full project record.

The venue’s ASCRS 2025 event listing confirms the historical Los Angeles event. For a future edition, verify the host city and current exhibitor kit rather than reusing the 2025 schedule.

From Las Vegas Production to Los Angeles Installation

Exhibitsmax is headquartered in Las Vegas, with production capabilities there. Los Angeles projects combine that production work with freight planning, project management, and coordinated show-site installation.

Built in Las Vegas. Delivered and installed in Los Angeles. These workshop photographs show Exhibitsmax’s Las Vegas production and preparation process. For a Los Angeles project, the approved components are prepared there, then dispatched around the event’s receiving and installation schedule.

  1. Design approval: confirm dimensions, product placement, finishes, graphics, and responsibilities against the show requirements.
  2. Fabrication and graphics: prepare approved components through custom booth fabrication or rental preparation.
  3. Pre-show assembly and QA: review agreed components, graphic fit, labels, instructions, and packing before dispatch.
  4. Freight to Los Angeles: plan exhibit transportation around the shipment and receiving window, with current carrier check-in instructions.
  5. Venue delivery: coordinate the carrier handoff, material handling, and delivery to the correct hall and booth.
  6. Installation: sequence structure, products, graphics, and utility connections with the responsible providers and approved work windows.
  7. Dismantling and return: complete the agreed installation and dismantling scope, then repack for return, storage, or the next event.

Confirm the timeline after reviewing the design, production availability, approvals, and show deadlines. The route from Las Vegas does not remove receiving appointments or venue service requirements.

Anaheim Convention Center is in Anaheim; for that venue, see our Anaheim exhibit services.
