San Diego Booth Rental Options
Start with your assigned footprint, open sides and visitor activities. These are planning directions, not fixed rental packages; components, availability and scope are confirmed in the proposal. Our trade show booth rental service can combine reusable structures with branded graphics and selected custom features.
10×20 · Product Demonstrations & Reception
Suitable needs: A focused product or software demonstration, visitor reception and short follow-up conversations within 200 square feet.
Optional components: Graphic backwall, demo counter, monitor stations, shelving, compact seating, cable management and storage.
Confirm before quoting: Equipment dimensions, live versus recorded demonstrations, power, internet, visitor queues and the aisle-facing entrance.
20×20 · Product Displays & Meetings
Suitable needs: A product range that visitors can inspect and compare, with space for demonstrations and buyer conversations.
Optional components: Display counters, shelving, a central brand feature, digital media, meeting furniture and integrated stock storage.
Confirm before quoting: Product quantities and weight, replenishment, security, meeting capacity and the assigned booth configuration.
20×30 · Multiple Demonstrations & Private Meetings
Suitable needs: Separate product or demo zones, reception and scheduled conversations across a 600-square-foot footprint.
Optional components: Multiple demo stations, larger displays, seating, an enclosed or semi-private meeting area, AV and back-of-house storage.
Confirm before quoting: Sightlines, room size, accessibility, ventilation, structural review and any overhead-branding permissions.
A rental, custom-built or hybrid approach should follow your brand needs, reuse plans and budget. Our custom booth fabrication team can review features that need purpose-built production rather than standard rental components.
Planning for the San Diego Convention Center
Use the current exhibitor manual alongside the venue’s official regulations, exhibitor services resources and planning resources and hall diagrams. Your event’s instructions define the assigned space, service orders and working schedule; applicable venue and safety requirements also remain relevant.
- Manual & hall assignment: Send the booth number, hall, open sides and floor plan. Confirm design approvals, contractor credentials and access requirements before production.
- Freight & receiving: The venue does not accept general show freight outside the designated receiving arrangement. Confirm warehouse or direct-to-show labels, receiving dates and the correct show and hall identification. The official service contractor arranges truck marshalling off site.
- Drayage / material handling: Carrier delivery and movement from receiving to your booth are different scopes. Check the show’s handling terms, empty-container storage and return arrangements alongside the exhibit transportation plan.
- Electrical & internet: Identify the approved providers in the current kit. Send equipment loads, outlet positions and any live-demo connectivity requirements; confirm orders and payment responsibilities.
- Rigging & hanging signs: Review the venue’s approved rigging arrangements and the event’s permissions before committing to suspended elements. Hanging-sign elevation and floor-supported structure height need separate review.
- Installation & dismantling: Coordinate crew access, contractor documentation and the build sequence with current labor arrangements. Our installation and dismantling service can be scoped alongside designated show services.
- Move-in & move-out: Plan around assigned work windows, freight availability, container return and outbound pickup. Confirm who submits shipping paperwork and handles post-show return or storage.
For a step-by-step planning sequence, freight guidance and service responsibility checklist, read our San Diego Convention Center Booth Planning Guide.
Official venue resources reviewed October 11, 2026. Event-specific instructions should be checked again for your assigned show.
Las Vegas Production to San Diego Installation
Our design and production operation is in Las Vegas. The Phoenix and Chicago projects above demonstrate completed work in those cities; they are references for a San Diego brief and are not represented as local installations.
- Design & scope: Review the floor plan, displays, graphics, AV and meeting needs, then identify rental components and any custom fabrication.
- Production & pre-show checks: Prepare approved structures and graphics; review fit, finish, components and assembly requirements before packing.
- Packing & transportation: Inventory and label items, protect surfaces and coordinate receiving instructions with the carrier and show contractor.
- Installation & return: Coordinate the agreed build, on-site handoffs, dismantling and return logistics. Any subsequent exhibit storage is identified in the project scope.
San Diego & Nearby Convention Venues
San Diego Convention Center is the main venue covered in the planning checklist above. Confirm the assigned hall and current show instructions rather than relying on directions from a previous event.
Gaylord Pacific Resort & Convention Center is in Chula Vista, within the wider San Diego region. Town and Country Resort, Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina and Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina have their own event-space and delivery arrangements. Confirm the actual venue and room before applying any freight, rigging or installation plan.
For event planning, WEST 2027 lists February 16–18 at the San Diego Convention Center. Comic-Con 2027 lists July 22–25, with Preview Night July 21. Technical demonstrations and retail-style displays need different power, storage and visitor-flow plans; obtain the organizer’s current kit for your confirmed participation.
What’s Included in Your San Diego Booth Quote?
The written proposal identifies included work, coordinated services and items ordered separately. A turnkey plan does not make every official show service part of the builder’s price.

| Graphics | Production and fitting of the agreed graphic set. | Artwork, proofs, replacements and additional quantities. |

San Diego Trade Show Booth Rental FAQs
Can I rent a trade show booth for a San Diego event?
Yes. We can plan a branded rental exhibit for your assigned space. The system, components, custom features and availability are confirmed for your design and schedule.
What can be included in a San Diego booth rental?
Design, rental structure, graphics, furniture, AV, transportation and installation can be combined in the agreed scope. Review the itemized proposal for inclusions and separate show-service orders.
Can a rental booth include demonstrations and meeting space?
Yes, when the footprint and display requirements allow. A 10×20 layout can combine a focused demo with compact seating; larger footprints can separate activities more clearly.
Is Exhibitsmax based in San Diego?
Our production operation is based in Las Vegas. We coordinate preparation, delivery and installation support for San Diego events according to the agreed project plan.
Are freight, drayage and venue services the same charge?
No. Carrier transportation, on-site material handling and services such as electrical, internet and rigging have different scopes. The proposal and current service kit identify who orders and pays for each.
How early should I start planning?
Work backward from your show’s actual design, production, service-order and receiving deadlines. Complex structures or AV can need more preparation than a simpler rental layout; confirm feasibility before relying on a delivery date.
What do you need for a San Diego booth quote?
Send the show and dates, actual venue, booth size and number, floor plan, products, demo and meeting needs, graphics, AV, shipping origin and target budget. Include the current exhibitor manual if available.
