SEMA Show Booth Design & Rental

Build your SEMA booth around the products people need to see, the vehicles they want to explore, and the conversations your team needs to have.

Exhibitsmax provides custom and rental exhibits with Las Vegas-based design, fabrication, graphics, pre-show preparation, transportation, and installation coordination. From automotive parts and surface-care products to full-size vehicle displays, we connect the layout with your brand, budget, and assigned exhibit space.

Completed SEMA Booth Projects

Explore three completed Las Vegas projects with different footprints and display priorities. These are layout references; your structure, vehicle arrangements, and service scope require their own review.

GTECHNIQ — SEMA 2024 — 20×50 ft

A double-deck structure, vehicle display, and surface-care product wall brought several visitor activities into a 1,000-square-foot exhibit. The completed photos show the installed staircase, branded upper fascia, reception counter, and vehicle zone.

UPPF — SEMA 2023 — 50×50 ft

Three cars, illuminated film-sample displays, and a central LED video wall connected full-size applications with close-up material comparison. Meeting space on the opposite side supported longer conversations within the 2,500-square-foot footprint.

LUXO — SEMA 2022 — 20×70 ft

This extended 1,400-square-foot exhibit combined vehicle presentation, FlexShield branding, checkered flooring, and visitor conversation areas. The long footprint illustrates how vehicle positions and reception can form a clear sequence.

Booth Design for Automotive Products and Vehicles

Parts, Accessories & Product Samples

Organize product families so buyers can compare sizes, finishes, and applications. Plan secure sample mounts, counter heights, lighting, and replenishment storage around the actual components. Keep detailed product discussions clear of the aisle.

Vehicle Displays & Brand Presentation

Place vehicles early in the floor plan, including door openings, hood access, viewing angles, and visitor routes. Coordinate the display surface, vehicle entry path, and installation sequence before surrounding structures and furniture restrict access.

Demonstrations & Buyer Meetings

Connect product demonstrations, screens, and sample comparisons with reception and meeting space. Tell us if the brief involves tools, liquids, moving parts, or powered equipment so the activity can be reviewed with the organizer before it is built into the design.

Choose a Custom, Rental, or Combined Approach

Custom Booth Fabrication

Develop branded structures, display fixtures, counters, and finishes around your products and vehicle layout. Consider future shows, storage, and changing footprints when deciding which components to own.

SEMA Booth Rentals

Use available rental structures, furniture, and display components with graphics tailored to your brand. Availability, quantities, rental period, and installation scope are confirmed in the proposal.

Rental Components With Custom Features

Combine reusable exhibit elements with custom sample displays, vehicle presentation features, or a branded reception area. Compare the total production, freight, installation, and post-show scope before choosing an approach.

Plan Vehicle Access, Display Safety, and Approvals

Share the vehicle and equipment information with the floor plan before design approval. These coordination steps help identify dependencies; the current SEMA manual and venue instructions govern the actual project.

Vehicle Arrival & Placement

Provide vehicle count, dimensions, ride height, turning needs, and delivery method. Plan when each vehicle enters and leaves relative to flooring, overhead work, booth assembly, and surrounding access.

Floor Loads & Display Platforms

Provide vehicle and equipment weights, wheel or support locations, and any proposed platform details. Confirm the assigned hall's loading limits and the platform's structural requirements before finalizing the display. A booth's square footage alone does not establish load capacity.

Vehicle & Demonstration Safety

SEMA's display regulations address fuel, batteries, vehicle positioning, and movement after placement. Identify the powertrain and intended demonstration activity early; confirm the applicable requirements with show management before arrival.

Booth Plans & Overhead Features

Check design-notification, hanging-sign, and multi-level requirements before production. The 2026 manual identifies design notification for booths of 400 square feet or more and a separate approval process for hanging signs. Verify the process for your show edition.

Official resources checked October 19, 2026. Confirm current requirements, submissions, and deadlines for your assigned booth. Exhibitsmax is an independent exhibit provider; approvals remain with the organizer, venue, and relevant authorities.

Las Vegas Fabrication & Pre-Show Preparation

Exhibitsmax's local capabilities include woodworking, metal fabrication, large-format printing, and pre-show assembly. We connect approved drawings with the display fixtures, graphics, component fit, packing plan, and site installation sequence.

For a vehicle exhibit, preparation also needs to connect the booth build with vehicle placement, display clearances, and service access. Agree which elements will be assembled and checked before delivery, and which will be completed at the venue.

Our Las Vegas exhibit team coordinates transportation, installation, dismantling, and storage within the agreed scope. English and Chinese communication helps international teams align their brief with U.S. execution requirements.

What Goes Into a SEMA Booth Quote?

Exhibit Production & Agreed Services

The booth estimate depends on footprint, structures, display fixtures, finishes, graphics, lighting, AV, furniture, and project complexity. Vehicle platforms, large sample displays, overhead elements, or a second level can introduce additional design and coordination work.

The proposal identifies custom fabrication and rental items, quantities, transportation, installation and dismantling, and any agreed pre-show checks or storage. Send a target budget so layout and component choices can be reviewed together.

Show & Venue Charges

Exhibit-space fees, material handling, electrical service, internet, rigging, and other organizer or designated-provider charges are separate unless expressly included. Transportation to the receiving point is not the same service as unloading and moving freight to the booth.

Confirm who orders and pays for each service. Compare inclusions, exclusions, assumptions, deadlines, and change-order terms before approving a quote.

SEMA Booth Design & Rental FAQs

Can you plan a booth around one or more vehicles?

Yes. Share each vehicle's dimensions, weight, powertrain, delivery method, and intended display use. We review positioning, door or hood access, viewing space, and installation sequence with the exhibit layout. Vehicle acceptance and movement remain subject to current show instructions.

Can a rental exhibit include custom product displays?

Yes. Rental structures and furniture can be combined with custom graphics, sample mounts, counters, or selected fabricated features. The proposal identifies what is rented, what is custom, and the quantities and services included.

Can a SEMA exhibit have a double deck or hanging sign?

These features require project-specific review. Share the booth assignment, intended upper-level use, proposed heights, and overhead elements before design is fixed. Engineering documentation and applicable organizer, venue, and fire-safety approvals must be addressed; a past project does not establish approval for a new booth.

How early should we contact you?

Contact us once the booth assignment and display brief are available. If the show is close, send the current approval status, artwork, vehicle details, and deadlines first. We will assess scope and availability before confirming a feasible design and production schedule.

Are official show services included in the booth price?

Only when expressly itemized in the quote. Review material handling, electrical, internet, rigging, and other designated-provider services separately, including who places orders and pays the charges.

What information is needed for a SEMA booth quote?

Send the show year, booth number and size, floor plan, products and vehicles, demonstration needs, meeting requirements, and target budget. Add artwork, technical specifications, and the current service manual if available.
